I think what they’re doing fits, yes.

But here’s the thing: if they claim they’re in an armed conflict, why would we question that? Then it’s easy to conclude they should be following the laws of war… which they’re not. And therefore have committed war crimes.

The admin claims it IS in an armed conflict with narco terrorists.

The Geneva Conventions say “armed conflict” not declared war.

…we weren’t at war with Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan… anybody since 1942. There is no requirement for a declared war. This isn’t just about the judgment of a lawyer in the US either. It’s just really strange that you’d hang your hat like this. This is international law.

Other attorneys in the field are saying otherwise. His opinion is just that, an opinion.

It qualifies for armed conflict for a number of reasons, mainly because Trump is calling them terrorists and saying there “enemies of the United States.”

You don’t have to be at war for war crimes.

I’ve been calling them the Regressive party. Not sure why it hasn’t caught on. 😂
