Putting on a show, for that Arctic winter games.
Cheers Andrew.
Iβve struggled with that stock in the pastβ¦ but I like 1/2 of this roll. Itβs been fun experimenting with it again
Yep. We had green say there are two winters. Usually they are different in that the first one has most of the real cold, and most of the snow⦠but I think anything is up for grabs this year.

Weβve had a weird winter weather wise too.
Lots of dramatic highs and lows. Way more snow this winter than in the past 4.
Itβs been a ride for sure.
Oh oh!! Stay tuned⦠I have some good specimens coming. Not the best photos⦠but really caked big trees.
Awesome π
That day wasnβt too bad actuallyβ¦. Sort of had an inversion, so down in town was much colder.
I had been inspired by all the frost/ice covered trees in town, thinking Iβd find them up in elevation tooβ¦ but it didnβt carry up.

I love them so much!
Thank you π

Thank you Paula π
I was looking for this, but did not find it.
(It was so goodβ¦ but also, Iβm fully aware, that the people you are with, and the food that you eat, have a huge impact on how the bottle tastes).

Well put Phil. Iβm stealing that, lol.
Iβve often struggled describing it. Perfect mate. π
Cheers Jevon π
Iβm stoked you liked it!
Was in a wine store today, and couldnβt help but think of you, lol.
True true.
I would say itβs likely confirmation bias on my part. But I see and hear a lot of lust for xpan/widelux/617β¦ and lenses wider than 35 on 135 or equivalent. You can see the prices too in the resale market reflect that too.
I think that 150 Sonnar is still an incredible bargain.
The danger with wide is a very flat image⦠and personally I value depth over width.
Thank you Phil π
I think wide is too popular, and it is also actually very hard to do well.
I also donβt think it does the landscape of the Yukon justice. We arenβt a busy tight metropolis. And while we do have some of the largest mountains in NA, most of our landscape is sprawling and vast.
Wicked. That fist one especially π€
