This October, I will be at the www.facebook.com/MVHBF.
I will also be at the first edition of JefCon1 in Tennessee on December 6. I will be available 90% of the time to chat with you and have a drink.
Philip Fracassi will also be there, and we'll announce something really cool.

Don’t let the subject fool you, sketching is very soothing.
Wasn’t he in a band, The Scarabs or or something?
Pretty sure you can guess what show I’m watching while sketching
I sometimes do covers for the French version of English books that are published in Quebec.
Here’s one I did for Rick Mofina’s THEIR LAST SECRET. It was inspired by the 3 main characters calling themselves The Skull Sisters after taking a blood oath.
Great news!
In 2023, I won the Boréal Award in Visual Arts, but I couldn't attend the ceremony.
However, I just found out that I'm a finalist again this year, that the awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 21, and that this time I can attend!
Fingers crossed.
Very happy to have worked on this beautiful edition of STINGER by Robert McCammon for SST Publications.

I stopped doing remarques for Revival a long time ago, but at certain tiers, Patreon members can get any book they want remarqued (as long as I worked on the book, obviously!), and I can’t say no.
So I got to revisit Reverent Jacob today.
After months of work, I finished all the remarques for The Stand.
I felt that the last one should be an homage to the cover by John Cayea. I changed some details, but it’s pretty true to the original.
I made a “making off” video of this on my Patreon.
I hope you like it
80% done with The Stand remarques.
Here’s a mildly unhappy Flagg, probably screaming at you because you chose to go to Boulder instead of Vegas.
I should be able to finish all of them before going on vacation, where I will be using two ice buckets: one for my beers and one for my hand!
Just finished the first of 35 remarques in the gift edition of The Stand, published by Cemetery Dance.
That’s going to keep me busy for a while, and I still need to work on other projects for various publishers.
Am I complaining? Hell no!
Did a couple of tree sketches this week. Very enjoyable experience.
Brian Freeman excels at Stephen King–related projects. When the spark hits, he loops in Bev Vincent and me.
That’s how chapbooks like "What’s in a Name?" and "Lost (and Found) in Translation" came to life.
Looking at the artwork, you’ve got an idea where this one’s headed...
First remarque for Philip Fracassi’s The Third Rule of Time Travel.
Put some pressure on Olaf to get me on other projects 😀
A few sketches done 2 weeks ago at the airport lounge while waiting for my flight to Germany.
I’m putting all those sketches aside throughout the year and if I have enough, I will probably randomly include them in the Patreon boxes in November.
Goodbye Germany.
Goodbye Leipzig Book Fair and all those who came at the Buchheim Verlag kiosk.
Goodbye to Berlin and its streets full of history.
And especially goodbye to my friends Olaf Buchheim, Yuka, Owen King, Daniele Serra. The real magic of this trip is you who created it.
It was a magical evening, thank you so much for having us.
I really like doing remarques with just one strong element.
On the set of Horror XPress to discuss my job as an illustrator with Josée Bérubé.
The books on display suddenly made that table extremely valuable!
I proudly wear my colors (OK, it's just black and white, but still!).
And don’t aim at the target, but a good 6 inches beyond it.
I like seeing those two names together!
Not an author, but I do have merch and people are really liking it.
It's pretty hardcore.
I am not one for throwing my books in the trashcan, but I feel this warrant an exception.
Yeah, that latest article doesn't leave much to the imagination.
I'll be right back, I need to disinfect part of a shelf in my bookcase...
I just finished a remarque of Jake and Sadie for 11/22/63, published by PS Publishing.
Very pleased to announce the publication of A PRAYER FOR THE DYING by Steward O'Nan, published by Lividian Publications.
