If everyoneβs dead, we canβt hurt the animals.
Or plants, come to think of it.

This has made my day.
Todayβs Workshop Horror
Yay USA consumer choice
Ε³-review; this Β£8 reversible ratchet 1/4β socket or bit driver is not bad.
Only gripe is the ratchet direction switch is the same side as the bit driver, which is the most likely side youβll use.
Can add a 1/4β extender for a lot more welly.

Yay Scotland. Lived here 7 years and never ridden up this hill. Ridden *past* it hundreds of times. Thereβs always somewhere to explore.
Yep. Many bike industry brands and shops will not survive this.
Yep. The fact Trump rolled over when he realised how much iPhones were going to cost is a big tell.
The rest of US business who just saw their materials double in price without warning must be apoplectic.
Or - buy a NordVPN sub and watch the excellent SBS Australia feed. A few minutes ads every 30 minutes or so.
2,110km on using the Shimano Link Glide LG700 cassette for nasssty eMTB duty, time to swap the 11 & 13T cogs. About Β£15 the pair. 15T available too.
Looking closely thereβs really nowhere near the wear I would have thought.
Bikepacking innit
Thatβs a 4kg Bosch battery in the orange bag. Hammered down some very rough trails, absolutely solid. Which is what you want in stuff like this.
Meant to add - can hold 5kg per side, swap between rigid and suspension fork, fits any bike, 4-bolt capacity for really large cages/mounting systems. Through axles available to suit any bike so future proof. Not cheap at about Β£120 for pack and axle, but very noice.
These OMM fork packs are brilliant.
Multiple #SkySaltires today on the Glen Ogle route. Fabulous.
Dalwhinnie down to Loch Pattick then up past Culra bothy and over Bealach Dubh. The last 500m is a 20%-gradient push of mildly unfunny proportions.
Ben Alder Cottage by gravel bike. Frequently Type II fun, but worth it. Next time, full-sus eMTB π
βNo tandemsβ? No problem.
Cycling hive brain: who *apart from Mavic* does MTB wheels where the nipple is attached to the spoke, and threads into the rim? So when replacing a spoke, you can leave the tyre on the rim?
Hacked my Yakima Highroad to be a bit longer. Didnβt break anything. Pleased.
The new cross-Tay bridge. Its bridge-y.
The only standard in cycling is that thereβs no standard.
Wellβ¦..yes.
I have no idea what the business model is, but this cycling.today MSR feed is perfect, and free. Result.
That the link was made as the lead point in the headline, subheading and opening para is key. And only about 1% of readers would get to the end, where (more clickbait) other examples of βfamousβ people driving badly are shown.
If you do the maths, I doubt it works out. The knock-on insurance cost of having points on your licence wipes out any savings.
So yes, itβs a clickbait headline that handily smears a politician dedicated to Scottish independence. Not that I suspect Road.cc of the same agenda as the BBC et al - itβs just a shitty way to conduct oneself for clicks.
Meaning the link to the former FM. The driver-cyclist bit is relevant, if for nothing else than it actually ended with a fine and points - which is surprising in the wider context of motornormivity.
