It's deeply frustrating to see people only talk about length and width when praising their crossovers. Your hood is still so high up you can't see a kid as easily as someone with a vehicle with a *sane* hood height, chum. Your vehicle being taller means more frontal area means less gas mileage.

A base H2, corrected for inflation, had a starting MSRP of over $90k.

I feel like there are a lot of options in bad choices...

I've lit the signal for Chemistry Bluesky. There's a chance someone has more direct knowledge. I'm not seeing anything about the chemistry of it that should be of immediate concern, but I haven't worked with either so this is in the realm of theoretical knowledge. ThermoFisher link shared seems good

I shall light the #ChemSky signal.

Maybe! The box elder bugs might also taste bad. Mine is unhappy with the amount of food she receives. House flies=sky kibble

My void sees to it that no house fly remains uneaten for even 24 hours. She doesn't think fruit flies are worth the effort.

Check out The Major's "I like war" speech from Hellsing.

Basically that.

Sounds about right. He's an absolute imbecile and a lot of the time words just kinda fall out of his mouth.

I can grab both of my shoulder blades.

I can put my cellphone screen down on my fingers and tilt my hand until the phone is nearly at a 70 degree angle before it starts to slip.

I am capable of voluntary nystagmus. (making my eyes shake back and forth rapidly)

I can perfectly mimic a cat puking.

American corporations: Just try and stop us!

*Technically* we have regulations. It's just a matter of being able to actually send inspectors to make sure the regulations are enforced and you know how we feel about that!

Phil has a sign that's not quite about this, but it's related.

When someone says β€žScientists do not want you to knowβ€œ you can dismiss everything from there on. Scientists want you to know. They are desperate that you know. They can’t shut up about what they found out and want you to know.

There's a limit to what you can do with terrible quality meat.

In such cases, replace some of that meat with Mystery Substance! It will allow an inoffensive texture in place of that boot leather experience. (I couldn't tell you what % of Arby's roast beef is cow vs Stuff)

You know what I miss? The roast burger. I don't know what all was in that seasoning, but it took a largely mid-tier meat to upper-mid-tier.

I worked at Arby's, long ago. I know what the roast beef looks like before they cook it.

I continued to eat Arby's after having worked there. I like me a roast beef loaf.

I am so, so tired of people treating covid as "over" or "not a big deal" or "endemic" (endemic does not mean harmless, people*!)

*Jessica is not among the people being addressed by this. If you also understand endemic does not mean harmless, you're good, too.

The difference between necessary and sufficient, as well as making sure to be clear on definitions, strikes again. Vaccines=necessary part of an effective covid response, but not sufficient on its own.

And it'd be nice to know if people mean "reduces but does not eliminate" when saying "prevents"

Enceladus is the natural moon that I find most intriguing, personally. Subsurface oceans, extremely high albedo. Astronomy and the search for possible life is just plain neat.

It would be amazing to detect strong evidence of life elsewhere in the solar system.

I do wonder what the mix is on fame being cognitively harmful/the kinds of people who seek fame being prone to grossness is. Kinda ties into the debate of power corrupting vs revealing, really. (My belief is that it's a mix of the two, and ratios vary by person)
