At the beginning of 2023, this illustration was made to start the year. The aulofti at the beginning of a new year perform one of their rituals to strengthen their connection with the sea, approaching the coast and wearing special clothing for the occasion to celebrate it.

Here we have young Damen in his teenage years exploring the woods. He would have already met Okana, as the pendant he wears on his chest was given to him as a token of friendship.

Currently she is curious about her origin; what she really is, where she comes from and what the future holds for her.
Having discovered a marine cave together with Damen, she finds a first clue to its origin-

Okana was raised by the Aulofti leader of Dorna but was rejected by her people for being different from them and for taking her as an exinica (impure creature). Her only childhood friend has been Damen (a Supul from Khott), and since they met until today they are inseparable.

Reference sheet Okana. Another clothing design had been made, but since it will have to adapt in each area, in that case this would be just her outfit used to go exploring outside the village :D
