Look, if the science arises that it's fair and safe for trans women to compete against women I'll change my mind.
You think they allowed that policy just because "some man" wrote it? How about UK Sport from a few years ago? They tried to find a way to have inclusion for trans women that aligned with fairness and safety for women. After extensive research and consultation they realised it's one or the other.
If you torture someone continually and as it always does, it escalates, and your victim fight back, you have it coming. The law ought to reflect that. Every single person has the right to self defense.
Maybe you should do some research. Transgender players increase the risk of head injury to cis women by 20-30%.
