A lot of new premade book covers are coming very soon 😍
The designs are done. Now I only need to put the price tags on them and prepare the social media graphics.

Okay!!! It’s so important to be gentle to oneself and celebrate the wins instead of mourning the failures. I try to finish that stupid website and portfolio thing quickly so I can go back to working on new exciting stuff and stop sulking 😬

Why do I always have to face so many emotions while working on my website and my portfolio??? 🥲 Will it ever stop?
I mean, I'm turning 38 tomorrow. One might think, that the imposter syndrom gets less severe with age but not for me I guess 🙄

Sadly squirrel Cookie is no big part of the 7th Rosenhof comic because she can't come to the holiday camp with Fine and Melody. But she's on the back of the book as always, doing her little shenanigans. She's my favorite character to draw :D

Yay! I finally got feedback on my quantum physics comic and it's very positive 😍
I'm very glad, that all my physicist jokes made the physicist who reviewed it chuckle a lot 😁
I can finally start to line and color this thing 😃

Coworking day is “Flight of Fancy” day 🤩

The feedback I waited for so long is finally here 😀
It was quite positive so I'm glad I can continue working on the illustration now. I hate it when stuff lies around unfinished 🫠

I'm also a designer by trade so I make my own type designs!
I know that most comic projects are a one person show and that's something I personally really love about making comics :)
But I also think you don't have to do everything yourself. It's okay to ask for help with stuff you're not good at.

Of course I meant "my taxes" 😂 I'm not doing yours 😆

I'm so bored, that I voluntarily started doing your taxes 😅
Plus I'm also expecting a tax return so I have extra motivation to do them now before work gets crazy again 😁

I know 🥲 I can't do much to speed up the approval process right now. But I know I will have to finish that cover illustration eventually and then it will be my problem again 🙄
And my gut feeling for the rest of the project, which will be so much more work, is sooo bad. But that's another story ...

Still waiting for feedback for the sketch for the cover I should have finalised more then a week ago 🥲 And the day where the publisher's catalogue of new publications needs to go to the printer is coming closer 😂 I really try to fill the void with other work but it's so annoying 🫠

I followed the instructions of my GP and took good care of my back for the last couple days and I'm so glad it is slowly getting better. I really hope, I can cancel that date with an orthopedist I set up on my birthday next week (no earlier appontments were available) 😂

I made no progress with “Flight of Fancy” this week 🥲 working on the iPad is not good for my back right now and I had so much other stuff to do. I hope, I can get back to working on it next week 🥺

Today's the release day of the 7th "Rosenhof" kid's comic. Can you believe, that I already drew 7 books 😂 I still can't grasp it and I was there all the time 😁 Story by ViktoriaSarina and @oliviavieweg.bsky.social and I again had help from my wonderful assistants with backgrounds and coloring ❣️

I can't believe it has already been almost a year since I went wild horse watching (and drawing) in the Aveto regional park in Liguria. It was an unforgettable journey together with @loonaris.bsky.social (2nd drawing) and @nikismithcomics.bsky.social (3rd drawing) 💗

Since my back is worse then ever today, I finally made an appointment with a doctor. Sadly my general practitioner is on vacation so I have to go to his substitute who I really can't stand 😭 But I'm not as unwell as the last time I saw hin so I hope this time, I get him to help me 🙄

I put a lot of work in it over the last couple of days and now really like, how my book cover design portfolio looks :)
It's still somehow a work in progress (it will always be).

My lower back still hurts and I don’t know why because nothing happend 🥲 I already tried a lot. Yoga, Blackroll, easy training in the gym, painkillers and of course ignoring it and hoping it goes away by itself 😬
