It will be less than 10 months since I lost my husband, we were planning a cruise but I can't go abroad on my own. It will have to be baby steps.

Another first, for me.
I have just booked a bus tour to Torquay for 4 nights on what would have been our 50th wedding anniversary in June.

Totally on my own.

I can't bear the thought of being stuck at home crying into my coffee and using my dog as a hanky

I started to use the cordless vacuum cleaner and I couldn't get it to work. After swearing, emptying the filter and almost crying (tbh) because its only a few months old, I realised I had forgotten to put the battery pack back in!
