I’ve been getting a number of ads from evangelical and conservative groups and it’s not the good ones, like the Holy Post. This shows me how the algorithm has been co-opted to equate Jesus with right wing fundamentalism. My confirmation bias has been affirmed.
As my followers know, I’m an unashamed mainline Christian who takes the Jesus of the Gospels seriously. This means my feed is usually filled with a lot of what people think of as “liberal” and “progressive” suggestions and ads.
