On top of that, the internet seemed fine right now on my installed copy of Windows 11 24H2 so.. bruh.

This is just some typical cycle these days when using Windows. Basically having to stick to the previously released OS like Windows 10 and waiting until Windows 11 starts entering EOL before we start switching over to there. I wonder when that cycle will break?

Always make sure to never update your Windows immediately because I was on Windows 11 25H2 and apparently using WiFi internet (on vacation) was so sluggish compared to my mobile phone (which loads pages faster on WiFi)

Downgrading fixed it. :P

I recall liking programs like XR Animator (because of the arm tracking) but the lipsync barely worked and Warudo does have audio-based lipsync but my mouth keeps staying open most of the time.

Actually, asking anyone who has gotten their VTubers to work on Linux. How did you get it setup? Is it the typical green screen to OBS or is there something else I haven't heard of that is better than that?

On the Windows side of things, I like VSeeFace and its good lipsyncing and Spout2.

Yeah just figured it out after the post got deleted. It proves that using AI for news is more reasons not to trust them. There is and will never be a "trusted" source these days.

I guess the more I think about it. I need to strengthen my belief of taking every piece of news with a grain of salt. It makes more sense because its difficult to know what is right or wrong.

As for finding information for anything, a simple AI question isn't going to help you find accurate-enough information. My research comes from experience on the subject, Usenet groups, magazine scans and the Wayback Machine.

Ugh... Okay so I did fall for a false topic. I swear people who depend on lazy AI researching without fact checking need gasoline dumped on them and set on fire. In fact maybe those idiots should ask AI how to do that.

Linux is a good OS, but needs more time to improve. (At least for my needs)

Now if being dependent on being a VTuber and virtual audio mixers wasn't bad enough, my VisionRGB E1 has drivers but its a bitch to get it installed. the Kernel modules suck!

I relied on virtual audio mixers to keep raw gameplay footage going. I believe setting up JACK and fucking around with PulseAudio/PulseWire/etc using bash scripts is messy and would take longer to setup compared to VoiceMeeteer and even ASIO Link Pro. OBS has something similar but its inconsistant.

There is a legit reason why I couldn't switch to a Linux distro. I prefer to use VSeeFace for VTubing and I hate having to go the green-screen route (Spout2 is something I use for OBS)

And the other programs natively built for Linux feel inferior.

Guess Windows 10 and 11 may be my last. I swear to GOD, somebody please get Spout2 over to Linux, also make the Datapath VisionRGB drivers work instead of forcing me to compile it (kernel module) and PLEASE! Give me a easy equivalent to VoiceMeeter.

In recent times, I have semi-retired my "THEBaratusII" name in favor of NerdBooba (or NerdTits).

It's obviously referring to Akage and her milkers but I believe it was a glimpse of fresh air compared to referencing yourself after a Hexen character. That and booba good.

Meanwhile my level design tradition is making Area 15 (from Blood Plasma Pak) into every game possible.

Imagine turning this to a deathmatch level. You'd be lucky to bunnyhop or let alone find your opponents in a maze lol.

To clarify, I am not talking about another adaptation like Hakyu Hoshin Engi and basing it off of the manga completely but more so a redoing of Senkaiden Houshin Engi.

A rather interesting what if I had in my mind. What if Senkaiden Houshin Engi got a remake.

To me, I would have retained the character designs while bringing back some of the prominent characters from the Manga.

It would also fill in the gaps of the story and give Dakki a much proper ending. :)
