Let's go!!
Let's go!!
Won trivia three weeks in a row!
Thinking about how often Jay Inslee showed up for Sound Transit groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings, treating the expansion of the high capacity transit system in Puget Sound like the statewide issue that it is...and the fact that Bob Ferguson doesn't seem to hold the same view.
I finished the thing

Already endoresed by a solid list of people including State Representative Darya Farivar, State Representative Julia Reed, State Representative Brianna Thomas, and Housing Advocate Tiffani McCoy!
Great Video! Thanks for making it!
Mayor Wilson: Audit SPD's Public Disclosure Office!
SPD has shown they wonβt comply with the state Public Records Act on their own. So make them.

tonight I learned, from the Seattle Times' lawsuit alleging Seattle police violated state public records law and a settlement with the Times, that SPD rushed to respond to a KOMO records request, providing documents in less than a month that a Times reporter had been waiting on for almost 2 years.

Itβs the βseason of love and givingββ¦but this year, doesnβt it seem more like a βseason of fear and takingβ? Like many of you, Iβve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

$126,000* salaries after 6 months for cops with minimal new accountability measurements doesn't seem like a good deal.
*doesn't include overtime, education bonus, signing bonuses, etc.
We need to hold elected officials accountable for votes that go against their campaign rhetoric. See screenshot below from 2023 campaign season @hacksandwonks.bsky.social interview.
In a district that Katie Wilson won by 16 points we really need a more reliable progressive voice in D3.
While I didn't accomplish quite as much outside in 2025 as 2024 - still very thankful to my body for taking me on all sorts of adventures both near and far!
Passionate Ones by Nourished by Time! Supremely fun R&B with important messages!
Paul has been talking about the tax loophole that Seattle country clubs have been enjoying for a while now but WOW I did not know how big
This is Broadmoor Golf Club. It's a gated right-wing enclave for the rich in Seattle. The golf course is 7 parcels, 122.2 acres. It's assessed at just $76k/ACRE!

Holy turkey, we are definitely smashing records this year. Happy Cranksgiving! #CranksgivingSEA
Glad to be part of my first Cranksgiving this year! So many people doing it for the first time!
Age distribution and challenged ballot type distribution for Seattle
There's lot of challenged ballots in Seattle. Challenged ballots disproportionately skew younger with over half from people under age 45.

Do you want @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social to have a better chance to win? Track your ballot, track your neighborsβ ballots if you think they are Wilson voters. Every single vote counts.

Chart shows only 17.6% of voters have turned in their ballots
chart shows boomers voting much more than young gen z
We are just one day out from the Seattle local elections! Only 17.6% of King County voters and just under 20% of Seattle voters have returned their ballots. So far, only 1 in 17 young gen Z voters have voted, compared to more than 1 in 3 boomers. Don't forget to vote if you are eligible and want to.
Legendary! Everyone remember to vote @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social
Everyone deserves food security. Today, I sat down with my friends Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal and Kenji LΓ³pez-Alt to discuss keeping our city fed as the President ends SNAP benefits for millions of Americans.
Therefore on top of their other differences (Zahilay did not endores Harrell, appears to be a stronger advocate for Public Defenders, etc), I will be voting for Girmay Zahilay, in part, because I believe it will help create a stronger King County Council in 2026 and beyond! #seaelex
I also believe that Zahilay would have a high "Election WAR", but not as high as Balducci's. If Zahilay were to win the executive race, I'm of the belief that the new council member would be strong on progressive and transit issues. King County D2 is the most progressive district in the county.
I'm of the belief that Balducci has an extremely high "election WAR" on progressive and transit issues for the wealthy suburban district she represents. If Balducci becomes Executive, the likely replacement will be worse on progressive and transit issues than her.
I think that WAR is a term that we could utilize in this election. This idea has been explored on a national level here: split-ticket.org/2025/01/15/o...
Wins above replacement (WAR) is a common baseball stat. A WAR value is claimed to be the # of additional wins his team has achieved above the number of expected team wins if that player were traded for a replacement-level player: a player who may be added to the team for minimal cost and effort.
