I didn't just read this, I luxuriated in it.

Another nice shiny day today (although I secretly prefer overcast ones). 2pm Wednesday
I found this completely fascinating with some genuinely new insights into what was a private, complex man.

Tuesday 2:30pm. Bit more Spring-like today
Today's sketch. I'm trying to get better at drawing muscles and how light reflects off skin. Used ink only for this one, no pencil or eraser used. I'm pleased with the top half of the torso but not so sure about the lower back looks

Rudy's in Stockton Heath yesterday. Best pizza anywhere plus the best staff! They even noticed that a certain someone at our table had passed her driving test. Felt so guilty I had no cash to leave a tip but will return anon and put that right
The Night Manager S1&2. Effortlessly suspenseful.
When I've been away and I see the signs on the motorway 'The North West' I feel a mixture of excitement, warmth and relief. Liverpool & Manchester alone make it worth it but there's loads more. Plus, it's just home.

Yes, what used to be a pub called The Doctors
Bit of a dour night here
Watched this again before launching into the second series. I'd forgotten how good it is - suspenseful and brilliantly crafted. Can't believe it's 10 years since it was first shown.

Just finished this - a thoughtful and moving read by Julia Baird with Geoffrey Guiliano. A yellowing, battered old paperback from 1989, less than a decade after Lennon died.
John Lennon, My Brother
I know it happens every year but it always feels miraculous!
Flowers budding in Runcorn today. Spring's almost here. Well done everyone, we made it through
The Caldwell Road side of Riverside College Widnes this afternoon
