Hmmmmm, I see your point. Maybe I’m reflecting on a lot of car trips when I was a child.

Obviously as an American, we get this though long car trips but I feel th sentiment is the same

I imagine for some ghosts, acknowledgement is what they really want. Not fear, simple recognition. For some, a nod of the head and a “Good morning” could work better than a ghost layer.

Interesting. So a spirit could use things like television, cell phones and the like but not be stored on a CD or USB drive?

I wonder if you store a ghost in silicone or fiber optic. It would a terrible thing, though. Even with the greatest fidelity, just ones and zeroes can’t fully express a shade. It would be a glitchy mess, knowing something is missing but what. I’m sure it’s been attempted but woe to whoever tries.

I know it’s beyond the scope of the Guide, but I always wondered what would happen if the tapes were ever digitized.
