Trilleen has completed her Round Britain and Ireland sail. Iβm honoured to be featured in Practical Boat Owner www.pbo.co.uk/news/ian-wyl...
in that case how about managing carbon dioxide and methane releases?
An array of of wind turbines off the english east coast
Is it likely that #paleolithic #clactonian deposits such as found in the channel fills in Clacton and at Jaywick Sands extend significant distances into the nearshore of the estuary? curious sailor here.

In this place where map meets chart, Trilleen is surging into the auburn dusk.

The sea has many many moods - today the water gently kissed the hull, hissing slightly as air and water blended in a quiet foam, rushing past Trilleenβs hull and swiftly settling astern, covering our path as if we had never been.
very sad and disturbed that the Health Services Safety Investigation Body is being scrapped. #HumanFactors bodies are a positive contributor to safety and desperately needed in the #NHS @hssib.bsky.social
Catch up with Trilleen and my solo journey round Shetland. Disability sailing at its very best: Round Muckle Flugga - Britain's Cape Horn, and into Shetland two years late

a classic βshetland boatβ with its wide midsection and symetrycak ends sits in a tarmac car park under a blue clouded sky in the harbourside.
this classic shetland boat form looks almost like a toy with its symmetrical bow and stern section and central mast. The ?yoal hull owes its origin to norse design and is specially suited to riding these harsh northern waters. #shetland #visitshetland #unst #baltasound
Lucy and Yak might be your friend?
that looks awesome. iβm tucked into Baltasound so maybe itβs reading for the next gale
Muckle Flugga is the northernmost point of Shetland, and the whole United Kingdom. Looks can be deceiving, I shot this from Trilleen close hauled into 20kt and building. The raw video gives a better feel for the day
A lighthouse in white paint stands on a dark rock outcropping. Behind a sheer cliff with green soft foliage clinging to the slopes rises out of the sea
this is Muckle Flugga, the top mark of my circumnavigation of the United Kingdom. One broken mast, one failed engine and a whole lot of trouble later its great to be ticking off major headlands in the trip again
Feel free to take my still of the Westray wifey if you need one or contact me for high res.
A historic but occupied cottage on Orkney roofed with vast slabs of sandstone waterproofed with roofing cement.
On Westray island in the north group in Orkney, buildings remain which are roofed vast stone slab - pointing to the islanders expertise with this unusual building material - from the self supported cantilever of the Maeshowe to the proposed roofing of Skara Brae #archeology #orkney #visitorkney
A grey blue sky rises above a sheer sandstone cliff topped with green turf and a white column lighthouse. Calm blue water laps at the base of the cliffs
Noup Head, the westernmost outcropping of Westray in the north group in the Orkney Isles. Noup Hd is a horizontally stratified sandstone cliff rising sheer out of a calm blue sea, topped by Noup Head light which was the first to use a mercury bearing for the light #landscape #orkney #westray
Yes. tiny, but unmistakably intended as human representation
A 41mm high delicate pink sandstone figurine with a wide base - perhaps singfying a female pelvis, with an elliptical head. Fine details in the head are thought to imply facial details. 3800 BC-2500 BC. Background pale pink and green, displayed on black plinth
The spectacular if diminutive neolithic figurine known as the Westray Wifey discovered at the links of Noltland, Orkney. The earliest neolithic figurine in Scotland 3800 BC-2500 BC. Perhaps female, perhaps not. #archeology #westray #orkney #neolithic #figurine

Hoy Head a steep red cliff topped with vegetation over a calm sea
This morning exiting Hoy Sound on orkney Scotland
yep. Write the story. Be confident in the story, have your editor check everything and approve, get legaled. Funky.
and there is a proper progression in care. itβs a hard job breaking bodies and minds and people need to move up the skills ladder otherwise they will leave. Sadly I support your analysis and think this may in the rear view mark the start of deinstitutionalisation
These are in fact Eider. Their green nape gives them away
Two smew, striking black and white ducks with a third different duck head n company in a grey water
Smew party - and another duck at Lyrawa Bay Orkney from Trilleen who is stuck in the middle of an anticyclone :-) #bird #birdsky
