I'm never more zen than when I travel. knee pain from flying while 6'3"? practice for getting old. flight delayed by several hours? that's a chance to read for a while. some things you simply can't control beyond how you react to them
From my end, I try to get in the trenches and help. Not going to ask a team to do work I'm not willing to.
I think our rush to “this meeting could have been an email” culture has maybe created an inverse:
“This heated, multi-day slack thread could have been a collaborative 30 min meeting”.
