Yes, interesting that Labor go hard against the Greens even though preferences flow back to them. The one similarity is that we have a Labor government alienating progressives by courting the 'centre'. So far this hasn't brought huge shift the Greens although a gradual upward trend.

I'm not a big believer in 'tactical' voting, commentators talk about it but I'm not convinced many people do it. Here we have a Northern electorate, low engagement (47% turnout) and a Labour government busy courting the 'centre' and alienating progressives. How much of this applies in Oz?

- All 34 are Australian citizens, entitled to return.
- None of them has been convicted of a crime, or even charged.

Implemented here in Oz last year. My grandkids tell me it's easy to get around. If they made it so it wasn't, eg by requiring actual ID, most people would quit social media because it would make identity theft virtually certain.
