100 schools cutting bills with Great British Energy solar panels
100 schools across England now cutting energy bills with Great British Energy solar panels.
The first 100 schools are benefitting from cheaper energy bills, thanks to our work with DESNZ and GB Energy. We'll reach 250 by Summer.
Every penny saved will go straight back into our childrenβs education to support pupils to achieve and thrive.

Allergy training to become compulsory across all schools in England, says government
The plans, due to come into force in September, follow support for Benedict's Law, a campaign to improve allergy safety in schools.
We're taking crucial steps to keep children safe in school, so they can achieve and thrive.
For the first time, schools must stock life-saving allergy pens. Allergy awareness training will be provided. Each school will have a dedicated allergy policy.

'The Figures Are Stark and Clear,' says Education Secretary
Jewish families across Britain celebrated Purim this week, a festival that speaks to the power of courage over hatred.
We've seen school-related antisemitic incidences soar. This is unacceptable.
We will back schools and colleges to tackle antisemitism.

60 years ago, the βUniversity of the Airβ White Paper set out a radical vision that still drives us today: your background or location should never be a barrier to education.
That became the @openuniversity.bsky.social, proving that great education truly can reach anyone, anywhere.
