Genuine question

Is the physical exam dead in human med? I can't imagine so but it never happens?

Due to recent health scare I'm having to make some rather significant changes to my lifestyle surrounding food and exercise, etc.

I'm taking small steps. Might use this platform/acct to yell into the void or hold myself accountable.

Ok so my back is on the fritz again, it hurts to sit, walk, etc. You know it's bad because the only thing that helps is laying on the floor and I'm doing that without hesitation. At an animal hospital. Who knows what's on this floor but it's worth it for a bit of relief.

Switching to equine has been everything I hoped it would be. I feel like vet med is still a viable option now.

This ACA is really out here acting like I should just do this procedure that I've never done because "it looks easy, other ppl do it all the time".

Easy to say when it's not your license or your job, maybe sit this one out.

I work in a veterinary ER and idk about other ERs but I've never seen so many people call out with food poisoning, and so often, in my life 😅

Dating in your 30s, you can't really take anyone at their word. Someone who is adamant they don't ghost and are excellent communicators will still block you out of the blue.

Small but significant life update: I'm now an equine tech, something I've wanted since I graduated tech school in 2011 😅

My toxic trait is my real laugh sounds like a mix between Velma after a few packs and a particularly old goat.

It only took 14 years but I finally made it onto the equine side of vet med and I can't wait to get started

Had a couple really sad and intense cases last night. The reason I know that switching hospitals was a net positive move was the fact that multiple people checked in with me to be sure I was doing alright.

I was fine, but you don't find crews like that everywhere and I appreciate them
