I'm fully on board with not doing drugs but making them legal.
Just a few hours left for this, but it's plenty of time. Even just answering the "overall do you agree" question can be meaningful. Speak against this endless cruelty.
I'm excited to be hosting a virtual conference this year with my startup.
The concept is based on the best of what I saw during 2020/21 with live talks, Q&A sessions and video call networking events.
The CFP is open and tickets available: www.hclbcommunities.com/conferences/...
This is what I was hoping to see and one of the key reasons why I backed Polanski for leader. It's good to start to see it paying off.
No-one needs an AI email summarizer if everyone just writes the summarised version themselves.
Drug laws have never stopped people from using drugs.
They've stopped people from using drugs safely.
It's time to legalise *and* regulate.

Just a couple weeks left til the Home Office consultation deadline. If you're a UK citizen or a migrant living in the UK on any visa, please respond π
This thread contains a list of resources to help you π§΅
If you read just one, I recommend @praxisprojects.bsky.social's question-by-question guide β
My "side hustle" is the opportunity to use the backing of having a steady income to work on ideas I'm interested in without having to think about short term profits.
If you want to support a party that dares to talk out loud about standing up for migrants, now's your chance. A big Green win next May might be just the shock the government needs.
I'm currently recruiting a "Beta Cohort" for my new online communities venture hclbcommunities.com. DM me if you'd like to be a part of a small group of people along for the ride! We are building paid, video-call only communities but the Beta Cohort will be free.
Welcome!
. @zackpolanski.bsky.social is the voice we need in politics right now.
Scapegoating immigrants for years of failed governance is a convenient untruth peddled by our media and those with power and financial influence on elected officials
We can do and demand better.
I have decided to take it upon myself to start this and I really hope that we can get some help for this person because she means the absolute world to me and a lot of you know her.
I don't ask for much, but I'd like this shared far and wide please. More details here: gofund.me/386e7927c
Unless the government introduces PR, there will be a far right government in power in 2029. And like the compliant liberals they always were, the Labour party are building the administrative tools to help those fascists round you and your friends up for deportation. Frightening.
just gonna keep saying this to people.
im not into reinventing the wheel.
especially when thereβs a perfectly good wheel thatβs just had rocket boosters put on it by @zackpolanski.bsky.social
Reform, the party leading in the polls, have said 60, plus they want to rescind ILR from people who already have it once they get elected. Given that it is often too late once people get into power, the time to organise is now.
My immigrant colleagues are STEM workers, but I'm fairly certain they don't earn 60k (as I don't). So Farage's proposals are an attack on them, too.
We are in the fight of our lives. This "Boriswave" they talk about, they are people. Our friends and colleagues. We have to stand up for them and work to stop Reform from ever winning an election.
Join me online next Saturday for an interactive group discussion on rebuilding extended family and other communal cultures. interintellect.com/salons/beyon...
It is an achievement that national newspapers are giving that kind of attention to the Green leader. I don't recall that happening much in the past.
Congratulations to @zackpolanski.bsky.social on being elected leader of the Green Party! Now's the time to build a mass movement to counter the ideas of the far-right.
It's been announced that Parliament will debate the ILR for Skilled Worker Visa holders petition: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/72...
If you are concerned about this issue and haven't yet signed the petition and written to your local MP, now would be a good time. Let's keep up the pressure!
The Home Office must be dismantled
No more ruining lives, tearing families apart and wasting money.
Yesterday

launched 'No Way Home?' - detailing how the Green Party would radically change the UK immigration system
It's time for something new
You don't really expect them to offer paid-tier models for free with privacy on top, do you? I think that's asking a bit much.
duck.ai is a nice way to try different chatbot models without creating accounts and worrying about all your data being collected
On behalf of my partner, we'd also like to apologise for him bringing his two Canadian degrees here in 2021 and teaching teenagers science in one of the most disadvantaged school districts in England. But don't worry everyone β Kier and Yvette are on the case!
Britain is a product of millenia of immigration. It has made us who we are. Quite why Starmer felt the need to set-up such an open goal with his outrageous choice of language, I'll never know. Regardless, Polanski knocks the ball into the back of the net with the force of righteous indignation.
Wow, look at this: the carbon intensity of UK electricity is currently only 32g/kWh and 86.5% of our electricity right now is coming from renewables.
Come on world, this IS possible!
And it will only get better (meaning: cleaner, healthier, less intrusive) π

This is the kind of media savvy we need to take control of the political agenda away from the anti-immigration parties. #BackZack
