I am way too down bad, way too head over heels, the thing that's even worse is if things go well I also literally don't know how to date??? Let alone in 2026...like what does that even consist of??? At 35 I literally have no more of an idea than I did at any other point in life...

I've literally never had a pet (okay we had a cat that passed away before I was 4 so I'm not counting that) and even I am baffled that there are still people that don't feel like this is the case.

Pets are family members. A pet passing *IS* a family member passing away.

The form of answer has me holding onto hope that once she comes out the other side of this we can explore going on that date, because I mean, if she had zero interest in me she would have just been straight up about that right? I am trying to believe that.

So like....I asked crush out on a date just before Christmas. She said no due to having health issues and upcoming major surgeries, so I've been taking solace in *me* not being the reason for the no, but that has also been hard of late. I want things to work out for her and also a potential us...
