Survivors of Amache, Colorado lawmakers denounce Alien Enemies Act The Executive Order to detain Japanese Americans was last used 82 years ago.

Survivors and descendants of Japanese Americans incarcerated at Camp Amache in Colorado are denouncing the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 and the Trump Administration’s plans to invoke it again.

It’s been 82 years since the act was enacted in the U-S during World War Two.
