Start arresting the men named and/or pictured get them to turn on each other (they will) I agree she's involved, but stop pretending she's the linchpin that is holding everything together. We know, at least partially, who the men are.

It's a simple thing, but one of the major reasons people nope out on reading a fic. I actually feel truly awkward leaving them out when submitting to lit magazines, it just looks wrong at this point.
I'm an Ao3 addict! You should add line breaks between each paragraph/dialogue line, a lot of people will skip "wall of text" fics even they're amazing
