It’s a relatively inexpensive spring break destination for Wisconsinites with young kids that doesn’t involve airports because it’s accessible everywhere in the state within 4 hours.

Pretty much serves all crowds from what I saw. But it is definitely very very touristy.

Just caught this… was offline Tuesday, didn’t feel well.

Thanks for asking! We’re at the outer fringe of the Twin Cities which means less ICE activity but also when it does happen, it is done before I learn about it. So it is normal on its face until you realize a store is closed bc it was raided.

When I moved to NC in the early 90s, one of the radio stations I was trying out had a regular segment called the Wayne/Lee/Ray update.

Cherrypicking, sure, but they never ran out of a constant flow of bizarre and often terrible news stories.
