I have loved working with spray paint since I was 11 when I first picked up a can. Inspired by what I saw happening in my Baltimore neighborhood of Highlandtown, I was immediately sucked in.
That was 41 years ago. Although the spark of excitement is still alive in me my memories have begun to fade.
These new paintings are a reflection on aging, both mentally and physically.
Despite all that I can still feel the drive to create and the “color” of soul push through.
