I'm really proud of this paper I wrote with my grad student proposing that children's racial biases are driven in part by racial differences in social status. Part of making the world a better place for children of color is ending racial inequity.

@awilhe.bsky.social is currently using this approach with simultaneous EEG/fMRI and showing that coordination of functional neural networks during first impressions can predict trust and cooperation in subsequent interactions! Excited about that future work as well!
One important point is that although we have used a neural-network approach to understand snap impressions using fMRI in the lab, this is the first time we have applied it to EEG, revealing divergent ERP and functional-network results!
