Honestly, you can have a booth and can still go have fun… your brain will sometimes just get a little itchy thinking - man…. I’m probably missing some sales…

BUT if you can find a way to minimize your expenses, I recommend doing it. they’re a lot of fun even on the exhibitor side of the table.

Yeah, if I ever decide to do a show again, I’ll probably stick to wondercon… maybe SDCC.

If someone wants to invite me somewhere and put me up for the weekend fine, but I don’t see that happening.

I’m also cognizant of the fact that many artists rely on cons for a big chunk of their income so I recognize I’m in privileged position.

This shit is a huge reason why I don’t do cons anymore.

I sit at my booth eating garbage barely making money in the weekend cranking out commissions.

Hanging out with friends was the biggest draw, honestly.
