My GOAT for a reason

I played Okami and SotC while I was preparing for 2nd Toughest College Exam on Planet Earth.
They gave me hope and courage to stand tall and face my fears. This is one top of being excellent interactive experiences, opening my mind to possibilities of this medium.

As a games enthusiast who has played COUNTLESS games, in every genre, type, with different visions, with different ways to encouraging play and also eliciting emotions, I don't carry favorites. I think it'd be disservice to them.

That said, these two are personally important games.

Capcom was almost bankrupt in mid 90s?!
Apparently they overhired during SF2 boom, then had to layoff people (extremely rare in Japan). Many sequels flopped.
They overhauled their corporate, turned into meritocracy and pasted everyone's salaries on walls.
