I’m pretty hooked on the manuscript I’m beta reading 👀 might have to postpone all scheduled reads this week 😅

How can you tell? I'm all for blocking people who use genAI, but people are so often wrong about it.

An element of my cover was accused of being genAI, and the stock image used was uploaded to Shutterstock in 2014 ... I'm no expert, but pretty sure genAI couldn't make images like that in 2014

'The Fairy Wren' is on sale today - it's one my first books, a contemporary fantasy which is both:

"A bit better than watching reruns and commercials on TV"
&
"Beautiful, lyrical and soul stirring"

according to some reviews :D

That's another #SPFBOXI review in the books!

The Golden Princess delivers fast-paced thrills, vivid characters, and constant danger. A few aspects didn’t quite click, but its ambition and tension make it a compelling ride.

SPFBO 11: The Witch and the Woodcutter by LS Walker Hey guys! I am back with another review for my “slushpile”, and like the last few books, I picked this one by using a D20 die. I did not read the description. I did not read any reviews…

I have a book review for #spfbo

The Witch and the Woodcutter.

It's a book for the times, which is horrifying because it's supposed to be a book about the past.

The SPFBO XI reviews just keep coming!

Budding Rhythm by CrimCat is an enjoyable LitRPG romp where you spend time with a lively protagonist as she stumbles, schemes, and slices her way through a game-like fantasy world

Graphic with black text top and bottom and a book in the centre. Text at top: Part of SPFBO XI. Bottom: On sale for 0.99. the book has a cover in an art nouveau style with the title: Reflections of Lilje Damselfly by Natalie Kelda and features a woman holding a water lily in one hand. She’s dressed in a blue water dress with water swirling around her arm and the hand that doesn’t hold the lily. Beneath her feet are two fish. Around the woman is a set of circles with the top half lined with water lilies and their lily pads. Around the scene is a swirling pattern in 3 tones of blue.
