2) Despite the inflammatory rhetoric in the U.S. that some transgender individuals may be mass killers-in-waiting, the statistics clearly do not bear this out. As @chrisknightfilm.bsky.social points out, transgender shooters in the U.S. accounted for less than 0.1% of all mass shootings.

The Tumbler Ridge shooter was a trans female. How rare is that? Transgender people account for less than a tenth of one per cent of mass shootings, despite making up a larger proportion of the population.
