4 years ago, NB abruptly went from closing due to omicron, to encouraging the hasty and deadly spread of disease. No more counting school cases, no more masks, no more isolation, no more testing required. And education and health reps were all unavailable for comment.

Surely this is not shocking, but Rogan had most of the big anti-trans scientists that my reporting found to be in the Epstein files on his podcast.
Krauss even tried to connect Epstein to Rogan at one point.

Carney says his support for U.S. and Israel's war on Iran 'not a blank cheque' | CBC News
Prime Minister Mark Carney says his support for U.S President Donald Trump's attack on Iran comes amid a "failure of the international order" and is "not a blank cheque."
PM Carney needs to do better then to say that his endorsement of Netanyahu and Trump's illegal war isn't just a "blank cheque."
The PM needs to state whether or not Canada stands for the international rule of law.
Otherwise we are complicit.

Dear Premier Ford,
Over the last five years, we've witnessed increased circulation of illnesses in schools. The effects that this has on institutions, systems, communities, and individual families can't be overstated; that's why I'm writing to encourage the Ontario Government to implement policies and procedures in response.
As a parent, I can anecdotally share that my child has missed 11 days of school due to illness since September and we have had (maybe 3 cumulative weeks without anyone in our three person household being sick. As individuals, we do everything that we can to avoid catching and spreading illness (we have all our vaccinations, mask in public spaces, wash our hands regularly, and stay home when sick whenever possible). This constant carousel of sickness is not sustainable and is detrimental to her learning and our working.
We must institute effective infection control in schools.
We've known since long before 2020 that children act as vectors, passing pathogens to other family members and then throughout Ontario communities. We've witnessed widespread illness decrease the quality of learning and teaching. Absenteeism and absences due to illness have steadily increased year-after-year since the start of the covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Whether it's students missing classes because of illness, teachers unable to find substitutes, or bus cancellations, all of these factors impact equitable access to quality education.
Many of these illnesses spread through the air, so the province must set and monitor school indoor air quality standards that correspond with international standards (ASHRAE 241) for decreasing the spread of pathogens. For any buildings that don't meet these standards, plans need to be initiated to address this through ventilation and air filtration. We also know that many of these viruses may seem mild in the short-term but can have serious long-term consequences (e.g. Epstein Barr may cause MS, measles can cause SSPE, and a number of viral infections can cause ME/CFS, to name just a few which will place an increasing burden on our already strained healthcare system.
Recently, the New Brunswick provincial government committed to adopting ASHRAE 241 for all new NB Government buildings, including schools, and adhering to ASHRAE 62.1 standards for retrofits. They are also launching CO2 monitoring in all schools by June 2026.
Now is the perfect time for Ontario to take similar steps and revive work on indoor air quality.
If this government cares about accessibility and equitable access to quality education, changes must be made. Now would be an excellent time to change this government's legacy by tackling the conditions that continue the spread of illness. The cost of doing nothing is much greater than the cost of cleaning the air we breath.
Sincerely,
Diana Chard

Oklahoma legislature advances bill that would remove tenure at OU, public universities

βAbolishing tenure cripples scientific & creative research...
This sends a strong message that top-tier academics seeking employment at Oklahoma universities should look elsewhere immediately. Why pursue a job here under such a repressive climate?β

In Defense of Effeminate Boys
If anyone had suggested that I might really be a girl, I donβt know how I would have responded.
By Ben Appel
If medical authorities have a rigorous way of distinguishing effeminate boys from transgender kidsβor of distinguishing transgender kids from proto-gay kidsβthey arenβt saying. I have met a number of detransitioned gay men who tried to live as women for a time because they and their families were so averse to homosexuality. According to a 2019 report in The Times of London, staffers at Britainβs foremost gender-identity clinic joked darkly that, as a result of the facilityβs work, βthere would be no gay people left.β A statement last month by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons noted that there is no validated way to assess whether a childβs gender distress will persist over time or disappear without medical intervention. A lack of good research and recordkeeping means that we may never know how many patients who would have been considered effeminate gay boys not so long ago have undergone medical treatments for gender dysphoria.
Absolute trash. The author did not speak to a single medical professional and the article does not contain a shred of evidence that effeminate gay boys are being bamboozled into thinking they're trans.

World at War: Canada Must Speak Up
On the first day of the Iran war, they bombed a school and murdered 165 children, seriously injuring 95 more.
On day one of the war 165 children were murdered in a terror bombing of a school.
At one time such an atrocity would result in widespread condemnation.
Not any more.
We remain silent at our peril.
My latest piece.

Itβs a photo of an article that spans at least half a full-length newspaper page that I clipped from someone on X. The headline reads: Still hoping to be PM, the Canadian who united the right (and lost his seat). I apologize but I am not rewriting it in its entirety.
Now thereβs a statement I donβt see near often enough outside of my own posts.

NDP statement on
Iran bombings
Following the events in Iran, Alexandre Boulerice, NDP
Foreign Affairs Critic, issued the following statement:
"The NDP strongly condemns the American and Israeli bombings of Iran.
This is a dangerous escalation that risks dragging the entire region into a major conflict. The oppressive and bloody regime of the Ayatollahs is reprehensible, but its nuclear program must be managed through the United Nations and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). In fact, its Director General, Mr. Grossi, recently indicated that he was working with the Iranian administration to resume inspections and reiterated that there could be no solution other than a diplomatic one.
The NDP deplores the Carney government's decision to blindly support this dangerous venture by Israel and Donald Trump's
administration. We want Canada to be a voice for diplomacy, peace, and international law."
Here is @ndp.caβs statement condemning US-Israeli military strikes in Iran and calling on the Carney government to defend international law

The only strategic goal I can ascribe to Carneyβs statement is that he wanted to hand the NDP leadership to Avi Lewis.
Itβs not going to get him any new votes in Scarborough Southwest. Nor a majority this spring. And it certainly is not going to make new trade deals easier.π€·ββοΈ

What a contrast to ChrΓ©tien. I was never a fan of ChrΓ©tien as Prime Minister but at least he understood the stakes of supporting illegal war. What will happen if Iran is able to obliterate US and Israel defensive positions? Is Carney prepared to sacrifice Canadian soldiers to defend an erratic US?
