Agreed. It was in the background for about a year, but then got worse quickly. Luckily we had the appointment scheduled. It felt weird to give the go-ahead, but the medical advice & my research turned up other senior cats like him who benefitted by it. So far, so good.

Blake is HIV+ which can mean health complications. He was having severe gum infection & tooth decay, possibly from stomatitis. He had a full mouth extraction that went well, despite sounding shocking. He’s already so much happier, I’m surprised & sad to realize how much pain he was in.
