#NoMa shooting: DC Police Chief Pamela Smith says the medical examiner has not arrived on the scene yet. The shooting occurred at around 5am.
MPD now saying three officers shot and one suspect is dead.
This shooting occurred within a couple blocks of Two Rivers Public Charter School, a Pre-K - 8th grade school.
MPD reports a shooting on the 300 block of Florida Ave. NE, near the NoMa Trader Joe’s. Two officers injured and the “subject also shot.”
Violent crime like this is unfortunately not that unusual in NoMa, one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in the city and the country.

One correction to a previous pool report. While POTUS took no questions and did not speak with your pool today, he did answer one question yesterday from a photojournalist who asked about South Korea. POTUS said "I'm just getting briefed on it." That was outside of the hearing of your pooler but for what it's worth, those six words constitute POTUS's entire interaction with any journalists on this trip. Peter Baker NY Times
