Locked in on a snacko🍎

So far it’s only apples that add around 7% of stamina, some other types will come later (don’t forget water!)

They are respawned on load to make the game a bit easier and help the player enjoy the time.

It’s #wishlistwednesday and I’m gonna go with the doggo’s Human room.

It’s a known writing trick to show a character by displaying his space, things he likes. It fits perfectly into Tailgate where you won’t see a single human for the whole game.

Each platform has its quirks and strategies and also has different audience. And like saying goes, you are not a $100 bill to be liked by everyone. You don’t everyone, you need “your” people.

Unpopular marketing advice for #indiedev and #solodev folks.

Use platforms you are comfortable with. “The more the merrier” approach will frustrate you and take more time from working on the game. If you think that TikTok is weird and wild (like I do) chances are it’s not gonna work. 👇

A lot of gamedevs get frustrated about their coveted wishlists being take away. Let’s look at it from a different angle:
– these folks are not going to buy your game and they just let you know!

So in the end they are probably increasing your future wishlist conversion!

Hey! Well, I’m in Ukraine, so subscribing is also complicated (no direct subscription or a very complicated delivery, which is sad because IRL it takes 7-10days for a parcel to get here and that’s without an air connection), so I feel you. I usually ask friends to send me if they come across it.

Friends from Germany included these gems in the care package!

I’m a big fan of older games, especially 90-s. I don’t explicitly collect any particular platform (I do have a win98 rig though and an xbox360 and occasional buy some og stuff for them).

Anyway, thrilled to try this out!

I want to grow the Gaming community on Bluesky more.

On Twitter (pre-Elon) we had a prominent group of Retro Gaming creators and we all hyped/built each other up.

I'm thinking of how to help build that better HERE so other Gaming creators can grow and have their content represented more.

What do you mean “you can’t?”. You have to!
But, to be honest it’s way easier if you have developer’s back doors here and there (I have a max.stamina hotkey for level testing).
