Cllr Paul Valentine has praised the work of Lambeth's tackling poverty teams and asked Labour to support our amendment that invests in those services that make a difference to people's lives.
Tonight, Lambeth is holding its Budget Council, where Labour are proposing £100m in cuts to the services residents need.
We will be putting forward an amendment that protects the most vulnerable from the worst impacts of these cuts.
