The 28 day move-on period is not enough time for people to access financial support, secure work, and to find somewhere to live.
Unless this changes, people will continue to be forced into homelessness by the cruel asylum system.

When people are granted refugee status, they are given just 28 days to find somewhere new to live.

This government is hideous. It doesn't need any analysis or deep dives to know that this is a fundamentally cruel and inhumane policy idea and no different to that pushed by the likes of Reform or Trump.

Meanwhile, the domestic policy focus is on improving policy re. children and young people, schools reform, youth hubs, etc, so needed, so important, heartbreaking that this is happening alongside, undermines the moral integrity of the good stuff
