Every member of the House of Reps has an election this year. What are you referring to?

A great crowd last night of committed and informed voters! A perfect example of the amazing civic engagement we have here in Kansas.

A day to mark the achievements of women from all walks of life. Did you know that the first female mayor in US history was from Kansas? Susanna Madora Salter from Argonia was elected in 1887!

Washington Days have been a blast! It's amazing to see the commitment, diversity, and strength of Kansas Democrats. 2026 will be a big year!

I'm honored to have the endorsement of House Democratic Leader Brandon Woodard. His support means so much as we work together to protect every Kansan’s freedom to vote and ensure our elections remain secure and accessible.

DOJ's recent 6th Circuit filing misspelled:

Voters as β€œVotors”
Emergency as "Emeregency"
United States as "United Staes"

And, it included a non-party in the caption.

These are the people who want access to your sensitive voting records and who my team fights in court every day.

So many people to thank as we work our way through visiting all of the Johnson County Democrats senate groups! Your support and enthusiasm has been amazing. Thank you all so much!

Breathtakingly insane. Just WOW.

You're right...I misspoke. But invoking the nuclear option (using a simple vote to overturn the rule of filibuster) is something both sides of the aisle resist for lots of reasons. I personally think that's what Collins was hanging her hopes on in this case.

...which again requires 60 votes to achieve.

Wait...why wouldn't the SAVE America Act require 60 votes to pass? It's not an appropriations bill, so they still need 10 Dems to vote in favor, and that won't happen...right??? 🫣😫

The federal government is suing states for refusing to hand over unredacted voter registration rolls. This is your personal information.

Secretaries of State have demanded answers. Kansas deserves a Secretary of State who will protect your data and your vote.

Who uses mail-in ballots in Kansas? Military families stationed overseas. Seniors who can't easily get to the polls. Rural voters who live miles from their polling place. Working parents who can't take a Tuesday off.

Voting is a right for every eligible Kansan.

Not sure who needs to hear this but the voter fraud rate is a mere 0.000003%. Anyone telling you otherwise is making shit up so they can take away your right to vote.

Such a great time at 45th Annual Bean Feed in Topeka! Thank you to the Shawnee County Democrats for letting us join in on the fun. Great to see so many people who care so deeply for Kansas!

From Dodge City to Hays, from Johnson County to rural communities across the state, we're building a winning campaign. Kansans of every background are coming together around one simple idea: it should be easy to participate in our elections if you're eligible to vote.

The new bill introduced to move city and school elections to even-numbered years does not have the support of cities and school districts it would directly effect.

I agree with their concerns, and I want to see Kansans continue to have the opportunity to vote every single year.

Had such a lovely time meeting folks, and hearing their concerns and questions. Hoping to be able to meet with Kansans all across the state throughout 2026, and beyond!

My campaign has been putting in the work of getting out around Kansas, meeting with voters and hearing their concerns. So grateful for their time and attention to our message!

What are your voting concerns? Do you like the way your voting process works where you live?

January 6th was a test of the resolve of Secretaries of State around the country to do their jobs - and that resolve will be tested again in 2026 and beyond.

That's why this campaign is so important to me.

Call time results in very little return for the amount of time spent doing it. At least in my experience.

I try to look at it with the silver lining in mind that at least those potential Kansas voters are hearing my name, and maybe will look me up before the primary in 8 months. 😏

#2 voter outreach (which we would be unable to sufficiently achieve without aforementioned staff and consultants 😬😫)

#3 donor outreach. That's right...we have to spend lots of money just to try to *raise* even more money. ::sigh::

30.12.2025 21:30 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

As a very smart friend of mine recently said, candidates wouldn't have to ask for so much money from donors/potential donors if voters were more willing to do research on the candidates they'll find on their ballots. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

We spend the money we raise on a few things: #1 staff and consultants.

Or you can also drop your mail ballot (in the envelope - don't forget to fill out the information required and sign it!) at any precinct location in your county on election day as well. 2/2

Mail ballots are convenient, but are running into more and more obstacles under the current admin and in GOP-led states across the U.S.

Kansas is lucky...you likely have drop box options that circumvent the USPS in your county. 1/2

I don't have the baking in my plans, but I am going to go get a boozy hot cocoa with my friend at Thou Mayest later today. It's not a fancy tea, but it'll do! πŸ˜ŽπŸŽ…
