Made a simple attachment system, for pinning/hanging various items like lanterns, kitchen utensils, etc. Also while I was at it, I hacked together a first-person debug controller to test some near-field interactions more easily without a headset.

I think it can vary a lot. For example, in a game you could hit a wall and release sparks but not take damage, and check the angle and speed of the hit.
If this results in a head-on collision at more than x speed, then call the take_damage() function.
So, it really depends on each project โ˜บ๏ธโœจ
