Regardless of our opinion on AI, we all got AI-pilled. There is no avoiding it.

Love your work. Wish you the best on your next thing! :)
If they can manage to make the UI elements glassy without sacrificing transparency, that would be cool. Like iOS 7, this might take a couple of big releases to become more refined.
The holiday season means I get to collect my thoughts on the books I read during the year. This year, I read some really fun and amazing books. My 2025 year in books π yearinbooks.com/2025/

Reading Brene Brownβs Dare to Lead this morning and this quote stood out: βClear is kind, Unclear is unkind.β
Hits hard. #booksky #books #quote
As much as I am glad there is windowing on iPadOS now, I find the implementation confusing. #Apple
Knowledge workers could benefit a lot from learning keyboard shortcuts and practicing speed typing. It seems trivial but so useful.
I wish Apple brought back the live in person events. These infomercials are getting boring.
This is super useful when the recipe is on a busy webpage with a lot of SEO content.
A nice use of AI chatbots - Extracting ingredients from a recipe webpage. Just share the URL and ask the AI to list the ingredients mentioned in the recipe. Makes it easy to get a shopping list.
I worked on this UI! So EXCITED for this to go out!!

This makes me question if tech will no longer be the lucrative career choice it once was. Maybe it is too early to say so. As much as tech cos. have vested interest in AI succeeding, they also stand to gain from more software engineers on the market in the long term.
I feel bad for entry level software engineers. And also for entry level UI designers (that profession has been dead for new grads for a while now).
I have believed this for a while and it only gets truer by the day - LLMs are great at writing and coding end of the day. Especially coding.
This makes me believe that there is good in this world. I am rooting for this plant!
This is one of the best takes I have seen on AI. End of the day, we got to make useful tech that is safe and has net gains for humans. Iβm cautiously optimistic.
What typeface is that?
This is when Iβd turn around
I put together a simple (very simple!) website that has a mix of notes that bring comfort to my mind. This website is primarily for my own benefit - it is a digital worry stone if you will.
Check it out here, and if it resonates, share it with others too.

I have been both a night owl and an early bird for a long time. Not sure if I can recommend it.
This is a mindfulness app. And this popup appeared when I opened the app. Not only is it distracting, it is also aesthetically unappealing. This is the state of UI design in 2025. There has never been a bigger need for good UI designers and product managers in tech.
A fundamental re-think of the home screen interaction mechanics would be very nice.
Found you on my discover feed. You look cute, great haircut :) πβΊοΈ
I need to watch your talk! Hope it was recorded!!
Lettering on a notebook in brush script that reads the authorβs name: βShankarβ. There is a pencil, eraser and brush pen resting on the spine of the notebook.
Trying out some lettering this morning
I have been meaning to pick up this book! Good to see more recs!!
The iPad Pro wouldnβt get as much flak from tech media if Apple did not give it a keyboard and a trackpad. It is a big promise with only half the execution on the hardware side. The software barely pretends like the keyboard and trackpad exists.
SNL and late night shows using Trump news for content was funny the first time in 2016. Not anymore. It is kind of pointless and tone deaf to just make memes and stupid content, especially related to Trump. Every media outlet has given him free publicity and amplified his views over the years.
