whenever I end up talking to people about the artists in question it's always like "oh you really loved that album? you've listened to it 30 times? you should try listening to their other music. you'd probably, like it?" but I'm not done yett :(

but on the flipside if I ever find myself entranced by a single song from an album I listen to the whole album without fail. album is just like the right shape for music to be in I think

I feel like I need to fully appreciate every song on the album to complete it before I can move on to another and that usually coincides with me finding a new fixation so I just get this huge backlog of expired fixations that I swear I'll get around to finishing
