Shane and the farmer, upon returning home after venturing out to re-watch their shared favorite film, stand staring for hours at a Wumbus Statue and Bobo Statue, respectively. Also on display in this small exhibition is a Strange Doll (green), Strange Doll (yellow), and, in the middle, on the wall, the iconic movie poster hangs in a place of well-deserved prominence.

My absolute favorite wildflower, the firewheel; a daisy-like beauty with vivid red, yellow-gold tipped petals. The rest of the image consists of a bokeh background of trees and sky, and a slight but bright red lens flare somewhere in the lower left.

A lone sunflower, backlit by the sun, on a clear and scorching day. Colorful Huji Cam effects are visible along the top of the image. The bridge to Hozier’s song “Sunlight” was also, fittingly, blessing my ears the moment I took this. “🎶All these colors fade for you only🎵”

This walk was (obvs) inspired by Mia Lind’s Hot Girl Walk! 🩷 I am thankful to Pikmin Bloom for bringing the movement more to my attention as joining Mia’s walk virtually this month was just what I needed to up my motivation, and I would like to bring some more of that energy (and focus on gratitude & goals!) into the coming weeks. One of the goals I have set for myself is to increase my step count a little bit every day for a month, while listening to entirely new (to me!) music (so yes, your song and/or album recs are, as always, more than welcome — any era, any genre!). ~ If you read this, THANK YOU! :’) I’m rooting for you, too. <3
