Portraits I made pixel version of for Fixeight Exa Label.
I worked off of new concept/promotional art by Nanpei Kaneko, who also did the promo art and ingame portraits for the original arcade version. Each of the portraits is 16 colours (including the black) and are in 15bit colourdepth. Fun times.

I miss games where you get to pack your items into a tetris grid. brings me back to the days of the horadric cube

I quit as PJ mod back in uni so I get it, I don't blame any WotP mods, afaik just a casualty of social media's rise + many artists getting busier lives (often as pro artists, so that's cool!) I hadn't been active on Pix/PJ long before the latter ceased to exist, just yearnin for the internet of yore

Improved the hand thanks to feedback from @ptoing.bsky.social, same dude who gave me killer feedback 20 years ago when I was just starting out. God I miss Pixelation, it was a watering hole but also a whetting stone.
