Love this show a lot, but some of the writing choices really make me scratch my head in bewilderment and annoyance that once again, a Hanlon boy gets sidelined. Andy and other show writers, when I catch you 🥊🙂

Also Will should’ve been part of that conversation with Marge and Lilly, considering that was about Pennywise changing the past and going after their families. Like that is concerning to him as well. Why was he (and also Ronnie) in the background doing, well, nothing?

Pennywise revealed about the future past and his plans to erase it and the Losers’ ancestors to. That would be more compelling and raise the stakes higher than Pennywise doing all that with Marge only. And Will would’ve had a stronger character development

together and the reason why they’re able to kill Pennywise in his physical form for good, Will and Mike are much bigger threats to It than Marge and Richie

Also the Hanlons are the central family in the show, so Will should’ve been the main main character and the first one –

I don’t think Pennywise should’ve flashed the deadlights on Will. It’s such a missed opportunity to not have him taunting Will more and reveal about Mike and his awareness of the future or past

Since Will is a parent of a Loser and it’s his son Mike who brings the Losers back –

I wonder what Will saw when he was in the deadlights. His future? His son Mike and the other Losers defeating Pennywise? Wish they talked about this after the climax in the last episode. Like that’s not something you would ignore and move on from 🙂

Is there a reason why Pennywise doesn’t go as hard on the Hanlons as the others? Like Mike doesn’t get a proper solo face off with him or gets attacked directly by him in the movies

Not including him more into the plot, especially as a kid, was certainly a choice 🙃
