Fighting for constitutional rights in court. Like your right to unfollow and block me for EITHER my bad bleeding-heart-liberal political takes OR my bad Timberwolves, Vikings, and Hawkeye takes! I don’t blame you a bit!

“One of the great weaknesses of our era is that we get lone superhero movies that suggest that our big problems are solved by muscly guys in spandex, when actually the world mostly gets changed through collective effort. Thich Nhat Hanh said before he died that the next Buddha will be the Sangha…
I have wanted to write about this very thought many times — how Hollywood constantly tells us that the world can be saved by one man punching another man in the face.
The quote is from an excellent interview with @rebeccasolnit.bsky.social — pls forgive my inept attempt at posting it. Link in reply

We all should have gone with you to watch youth basketball
Yeah, fuck those PragerU videos.

Establishment isn't working for the people. They *do not vote for* dipshit establishment incrementalism.
All I'm saying is Google had a vested interest in wrecking its magic search (people may have forgotten how insanely good it was, it was wizard level shit) because of how underwater they were on their AI investment and get you on to Gemini
Kristi Noem on her first day as Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas
By hook and by crook . . . I finally understand what that means.
That was an honest to goodness lefty sky hook?

Sometimes I just stick to one of my feeds in Bluesky when I want a break. This afternoon, for example, I’m not leaving my Timberwolves feed. I’m so much of a snowflake even my Bluesky bubble isn’t enough:)
lololol all five grizz defenders try to get to him, all look pretty helpless.
Julius is getting better about going hard and decisive. Less prone to what OKC did to him in the playoffs last year, swarming when he'd take his time or turn his back
A cartoon from the 1950’s that’s more relevant than ever 💔
To the grave, I says:)
OKC is a very good team, in a conference with a bunch of other very good teams. OKC had luck along the way last season. For instance, most of the West had to blow things up last season, to survive new 2nd apron reality. But not OKC, they were in position to take advantage
My hot take, that I will take to the grave, is that OKC is not some inevitabible force. The light got shined on SGA's whistle, and lack of a whistle while they mug guys on the other end. That considerably weakened OKC.
Nugs took them to 7 last year with half an NBA team. Pacers win if Hali played.
Maturity, yep. That's why this last win streak has felt better. They look more professional, effort-wise
Ant's shooting/clutch-time leaps this year cut both ways. He might succumb to superstar ego. But at the same time, if he and Finchy can harness it, the Wolves have a true championship ceiling.
Wolves' best opportunity since 03-04
Jokic took OKC to 7 games, playing 3.5 on 8 last year. Reffing different this year. I like Nugs.
If we get the 3 seed, I have no fear of the Lakers or the Suns, if that's how our bracket filled out. Then it's the Spurs. Get past Wemby, I like the Denver matchup
Same. This last win streak has been very encouraging, effort-wise.
And the better feeling has happened in tandem with trading out a bench unit of Naz, Father Time's latest victim Mike, and . . . uhhh?, for Naz, Ayo, SloMo, and Bones (when he's on).
I can see the path now without squinting so hard
