"We are the dead. Our only true life is in the future. We shall take part in it as handfuls of dust and splinters of bone."
Such a great line! Reading 1984. Go understand its context.
@alliedkindness
I like many things. Creative abrasion is a good thing. Arguing for enragement is not for me. Our lives don't exist in these platforms, the platforms are supposed to help enrich us. So far, this one has been enriching. Peace and love y'all โ๏ธ ๐ซถ

The spin is going to be that they're paying workers too much and that is what increased costs.
Someone, bet me $1.5 million on this!? Lol
If we get another presidential election, I hope for an executive order that puts the true history back into the Whitehouse and adds these schmucks to the list of enemies of the state.
Nah...he was in control even when Biden was in office. Remember how the lot of them said he was really in control behind the scenes!? Yeah, so he's been running the show this whole time...
The above comments are sarcastic in nature and NOT to be taken seriously.
That sacred book has been revised around 31,000 times! That's an awful lot of revision for something that's supposed to be 100% truth.
Have they started calling this administration what it really is? If so, they also need to be holding all others accountable for letting things get to where they are right now.
I'm sure the journalists are great. Their master is not. No more giving them my money. If that master were truly concerned, he'd let journalists do their jobs and wouldn't have put his money on Trump. So, fuck 'em! Hope that business collapses.
Text from the book, 1984. "The frightening thing was that it might all be true. If the Party could thrust its hand into the past and say of this or that event, it never happened- that, surely, was more terrifying than mere torture and death."
As if it were a playbook and not a warning. Some early words from Orwells, 1984...

Some interesting and anomalous data being presented here.
I think this needs more attention if you haven't covered it yet.
Depending on where you are, local libraries sometimes have book sales and I have found a few that way. I'm in a super conservative small town in the US.
I just read it during the election cycle in the US. So socially aware, it was sort of like a comiseration of sorts for me.
Now I'm reading Men at Arms.
One of the stews that Rock from the stormlight archive series cooks.
As in, I am not that adventurous.
Had to look it up. Not that adventurous.
Oh! Okay. Thanks
What do you mean by "analog" in this sense?
Also, that's adorable. I hope they keep this kind of relationship through their lives.
This is news? Why are you even still using their actual names!? Are you actually for the people, or another one of the billionaires of the ruling class?
This was never EVER meant to help the average business owner in America. Every working class schmuck is gonna get poorer because of this.
We have to all be able to align on it and then be active about how we message and implement.
Save your sanity! Lol I'm in the US and I don't even watch our garbage news!
I used to identify as a center left person. I'm practicing this thing where the older I get the more radical left I lean. It's great!
Are they waking up? Are they finally having a little "buyer's remorse" on the orange one?
Totally understand. I'm currently having trouble with Life, the Universe and Everything. Had to take a break and read something else.
I'll have him as Madmartigan from Willow, Doc Holliday from Tombstone, and Elvis from True Romance to name a few.
Good! Now, get to work figuring out how to sue him for trying to buy off elections. Straight to jail.
MF got away with buying trump into office and now he thinks he's got some power. Show him different.
Well done Wisconsin!
It is my hope that you enjoy the book more than the series.
I'm not sure. I read the book and haven't watched the series. I liked the book and that was before I truly got into the stride of leisure reading and my new love of Pratchett.
Had you watched the show before reading?
