@kanagucdm
I am a software architect and data scientist having 20+ years of experience in the IT industry. C#, .NET, Rust, Python, Azure, AWS, Python. I have built software platforms and products. My Language: TAMIL (one of the oldest in the earth)
I don't know why these organisations never thought about this before hiring them...
It is time to rewrite the system apps in rust to reduce the resource utilisation⦠resource utilisation is the key for any application in the modern world.
Better you can learn rust instead of goβ¦
I always prefer and used .net for enterprise applications
We have to continuously review the code and fix it or there will be lot of junk will definitely make screw up our life
Porting is possible with LLM and it reduces a lot of manual effort. But which language will be better for at least another 4 to 5 years to decide. High performance, memory safety is what is more crucial than the learning curve going forward.
@signal.org may be a new feature to disable the "link to device" will be helpful.
That's true and not a complex topic. There is a purpose on its implementation
How will the agentic AI impact the way we program all these days? Strong domain knowledge and expedite our programming to get the results asap with a small possible team.
Programmers who know the language will use AI to speed up but whoever uses AI to write any line of code are called non programmers.
I prefer the existing modern language to get all the expected features. Keep on introducing new languages that may not even get matured.
We need good crates for the sql server ORM. Please suggest if you know. Need for ORM
The sustainability offered by rust is crucial to build future solutions. It uses less energy, CPU and memory to run a process compared to other languages like python.
Coding on a day to day basis is really a stress buster. Learning the latest happening in the tech world is very crucial or we will be outdated.
I am using it, an excellent package.
So interesting to hear
Microsoft is definitely going in the right direction by taking the .net ecosystem in the open source path and supporting it continuously. The strategy of Microsoft on .Net is really great.
A lot of us keep on building apps using python but never bothered about its resource utilisation. Rust should be better utilised which one offers great sustainability in the modern day computing.
Slow compile time is a major issue if the performance is too good from rust.
Make sense
How web assembly is going to be useful compared to the existing js frameworks?
Let him complete and confirm
We need the AI to analyse the code and recommend the areas to be improved for performance or security and should give information about how many concurrent users or transactions can be handled for the current capacity of the hardware.
Also none of the company is going to invest until unless it is necessary to rewrite.
AI just learnt from the online resources and it keeps learning. It will take time to give quality results. It does not make sense to rewrite everything in rust. Better specific components can be rewritten based on a need basis.
Any language learning will be independent. Just similar language syntax knowledge may help to learn faster.
I don't think C knowledge is required but i may not be right because i have years of experience in building applications using C
Absolutely, new features to be added then and there to handle future AI and any other upcoming technologies
Elastic beanstalk is a great option but it has its own limitations. We have to maintain the underlying hardware resources. When a new VM is added during scaling it is not cloning all properties of existing VM
