Hotel rooms in early morning share the same kind of quiet you only get in libraries and abandoned buildings.

Black-and-white photo of an urban backstreet scene with the Blackpool Tower rising in the background. In the foreground, a tall utility pole with many overhead wires stretches across the sky, framing the tower. To the right and in the foreground, brick buildings feature metal exterior staircases and railings, creating strong lines and shadows against a cloudy sky.

A dark grainy image with some repeated illuminated verticals. Two buildings and a stone slab with Kanji on it.

I didn't clock that it wasn't a standard dip pen! Cool idea for a desk pen I'm guessing you have a much larger ink reserve with the mild trade off returning to the stand now and then.

Contrasty B&W photo, the sun cuts through a gap in a built up area, highlighting the brick walls of the building on a street, a lone figure catches said ray of sun, while the rest of the photo is in relative darkness.
