You can buy more matches, time to warm up

Oh hey, turns out both of my former employers are in the news today!
What a complete fucking shitshow, I am so bummed out.
Thanks @ign.com for further destroying my main site for 25 years. Getting published there was a privilege; I was good enough to feature among the incredible writers and editors. But you wouldn't know anything about that, would you. It doesn't make for a good spreadsheet. Shiteaters.
Clear and concise account of exactly what went down in Microsoft that led to the huge announcement on Friday. Hard to see Xbox surviving much longer (in its current form, anyway).
A screenshot of a text box from Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown. Kathryn Janeway: Follow them! We'll get Tuvok's lungs back.
This is what gaming is all about
The absolute ineptitude of those in charge at both Playstation and Xbox is beyond belief. Absolute idiots, the lot of them.

losing my mind at the "she should have followed directions" people
really? really? you're cool with "if you don't follow directions, they get to kill you"? that seems like a good state of affairs to you? that seems like how law enforcement ought to work: instant obeisance or death?
Lovely! And have you heard about this rare beauty causing a stir here in Vancouver? www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

i stand by this statement every year
Oh yeah, 'best' is purely subjective and for me that kind of superlative is always about personal impact. But you could say Super Hexagon...uh...left an impression on me
My son and I started way back with Hitchhiker's Guide #1, and we've just finished Dirk Gently #2, marking our end of Douglas Adams' bibliography as our bedtime stories. Only got the 11 chapters of The Salmon Of Doubt then that's it. What a ride. Sad that the end is in sight. Such a special time.
My son (14) discovered Neon White and nothing else has existed since. On Switch he's now 30-somethingth best in the world and is besties with the (very nice) pro runners on the game's Discord. He's just got the PC version and is trying to pull off insane timesaving moves that are totally beyond me.
And not the only culprit of Dreamworks face in today's Xbox showcase
Bond's ridiculous permanent half-cracked smile reminds me of when I had Bell's palsy
I feel like something's wrong when it's taken me three years to even hear of "Smash TV but also dungeon crawler with some Rez designed by Jeff Minter" youtu.be/QrNsN82D670?...
