I know this seems like a dramatic response to charging for checked bags, but this is the exact same root cause for the Boeing 737 Max crashes that killed 346 people. It's the same root cause for why Alaska Airlines door plug blew out: cost cutting everything to raise stock prices.

I try to think about what the oligarchs would *least* want us to do and start from there. Do they care if we spend our time freezing our butts off in front of the state capitol? Sadly, I don't think so. Giant impressive protests with super angry people are not novel enough to make an impact.
What is the best way to direct my activism? I'm brainstorming here. I call my reps, but their districts are gerrymandered and they just got (re)elected to years long terms. They feel secure. So they don't care.
