What do you put in? I put in the carcass, AND cartilage, tendons, floppy skin, AND the roasting pan juices. And only water, nothing else.
Actually this one had a very small bit of cabbage as I couldn't finish mine and it was too little to put away. But usually nothing. Slow cooker every night.

From that lovely miso glazed roast chicken on Thursday we had the risotto last night and udon noodle soup (with chicken, cabbage and ramen eggs) tonight. Really very good. The carcass stock and leftover meat were particularly good for a supermarket chicken.

I very very rarely get delivery and if I do it's most often Morrison's so I'm not hot on what Ocado gems I must not miss!

In the early or mid eighties when the (then) new shopping centre opened, it was the height of sophistication, especially for kids used to Luton's Arndale Centre. That's my last experience of it. I even rollerbladed through the mall once!

I prefer not to book ahead unless it's something that books out. But as we've been before in 2024, there's a few places we didn't get to because I was melting. So hopefully we will get to those. But lots of general gentle pootling and much much much eating is planned!
